    Henry was born in 1826 at Stroud, Gloucestershire to William Blow COLLIS and Mary.

    He married Frances (Fanny) TAYLOR on 8 October 1844 at St Johns Parish Church, Weston super Mare. Somerset. They had eight children between 1845 and 1860.

    They lived at 4 The Crescent, Weston super Mare, Somerset at the 1851 census but had moved to 30 High Street by the 1871 census.

    Henry is described both as a baker and a confectioner whilst he was living and working in Weston-super-Mare. He had premises in Regent Street.

    At the time of his daughter Mary Jane's marriage on 5 October 1882, he and his wife Francis and the children had moved to Portsmouth, Hampshire - 24 King's Terrace, Bellevue Terrace, Portsea -  where he both owned and operated the 'The Royal Turkish Baths'.

    Henry died on 10 May 1891 at home in 24 King's Terrace of Paralysis and Bronchia Catarrh
